Ingredients
  

  • 1 Clove Garlic
  • 1 1/2 oz Yellow onion, halved
  • 1 oz Olive oil
  • 24 oz Fresh tomatoes, halved
  • 2 1/2 oz Tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 17 oz Chicken broth
  • 2 1/2 oz Whipping cream
  • 2-3 Fresh basil leaves

Method
 

  1. Place garlic and onions into mixing bowl and chop 3 sec/speed 5. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
  2. Add butter and saute 3 min/120C/speed 1.
  3. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, sugar and dried oregano, insert measuring cup and chop 5 sec/speed 5.
  4. Add chicken broth and cook 15 min/100C/speed 2.
  5. Add cream and basil leaves, insert measuring cup and blend 1 min/speed 6-8, increasing speed gradually. (optional) You can leave the soup as it is without blending it if you prefer. Serve warm.
