Ingredients

  • 5 Chicken drumsticks
  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Dried parsley

Equipment

  • 1 Air fryer

Method

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Pat the drumsticks dry with paper towels. This helps to skin crisp up beautifully in the air fryer.
  2. Place the drumsticks in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Season: In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, oregano, and parsley. Sprinkle the seasoning over the drumsticks and toss until evenly coated.
  4. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400F (200C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Cook the Drumsticks: Arrange the drumsticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd them.
  6. Cook at 400F for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking. The chicken is done when the internal temperature reaches 165F (74C).
  7. For extra crispy skin, cook an additional 2-3 minutes.
