Waffles with Creamy Vanilla Sauce
Nothing beats waking up to the smell of freshly made waffles. Crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside, these homemade waffles are the perfect way to start your day. Paired with a rich and creamy vanilla sauce made from scratch, they become an indulgent breakfast or dessert that feels truly special.

I’m not talking waffles made from a premix packaged dough that taste nothing like waffles and are overly starch like. This recipe is family-friendly and easy to make. Ditch the store bought premixed ingredients that are full of preservatives. I will show you step by step on how to make these incredible waffles. You can either use a waffle machine or what we love to use in the summer time is a waffle iron over an open fire. These waffles have a wonderfully crispy texture when using this method.

While waffles are delicious on their own, pairing them with a rich, homemade vanilla sauce takes them to a whole new level along with berries. I make the sauce in my Thermomix but if you don’t own one you can simple make it on the stove top.
