Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl or Thermomix mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, milk and water. Mixing until a dough forms. Knead about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Cover the dough let it rest for 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile prepare the filling.
Make the Filling: In another bowl, combine ground meat, grated onions, salt, and pepper. The onions help create the signature juicy filling that makes manty so delicious.
Roll and Fill: Roll the dough thinly on a floured surface. Cut into squares about 4 inches wide.
Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each square. Fold the dough in half and seal the edges making it in a round shape.
Steam the Manty: Lightly grease your steamer trays. Arrange the manty with space between them.
Steam for 45 minutes until the dough is tender and the filling is fully cooked. If using a Thermomix steam 45 min/varoma/speed 2.
Serve Warm: Serve hot with sour cream, sriracha hot sauce and curry ketchup.
